I came across this tree that had been severely lopped the other day. The sawdust that the chainsaw had left behind looked a little like a light sprinkling of odd coloured snow. The way the three stumps are reaching up to the sky looks like they are trying to escape from being cut even further...on the other hand it's just a chopped up tree..

ReplyDeleteInteresting. I noticed a lot of trees in Berlin have also been "chomped". Maybe it's just that time of year.
ReplyDeleteIt happens here, seeing that in branches that have to be removed. The wood stands out for a year, if the tree itself is still in place, before the wood darkens.
