WANSTEAD PUMPING STATION.

This Thames Water Pumping Station next to the River Roding in Wanstead is to me a fine example of Victorian architecture.  This was the best time of the year to photograph the building as normally in the Summer leaves on the trees obscure the view.

  1. I used to work there and have pictures of when it housed the steam engine, boilers etc.. What you see is only part of what was originally built in 1903/4. If they are of interest to you email Bob.... eppingsignalcabin@btinternet.com
