I came across this tiny alleyway when I was in London checking for my next photo workshop, its called Cobbs Court. The wide angle lens I was using has exaggerated the actual width it really is small. I like the comparison between the very old building with its brickwork on the left and the more modern building at the end of the alley. I was lucky that there was a little rain which led to the reflection on the paving..
A perfect shot for black and white. And it does seem very narrow to me, even with the wide angle.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it, I'm glad the 'narrowness' still shows
DeleteBOnsoir j'adore ces briques et je connais un peu LONDRES bise et bonne soirée
ReplyDeletesi heureux vous aimez les photos et bien sûr Londres ..
DeleteI am reminded of a series of courtyards here that I haven't photographed in awhile- mostly older buildings and cobblestone, but also the odd newer building around them.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great combination the old and new..
DeleteBlimey, just when I'd stopped watching Ripper documentaries and gotten into teen pregnancy ones, you're making me want to start all over again... :-) Absolutely love the fact that it was wet!
ReplyDeleteYes the rain certainly helped! I'm afraid there might be a few more J the R scenes coming up..
DeleteCool shot!
