KINDNESS...

...it's often a rare comodity with not enough of it in the world these days. One exception are the owners of one of our local  restaurants here in Wanstead. As you can see by the notice on the front reading 'free food for homeless people' the patron of Turkish restaurant Gezi Park in the High Street really is one of the good guys...

SIMPLE...

I spotted this blossom on a walk last weekend, it was on the ground behind the rugby club. I know it's another blossom picture but I couldn't resist the simplicity of it, the white of the blossom against the blue sky with the green of the grass and bushes underneath..simple..

SPRING IS IN THE AIR...

...as the song goes, actually I think it's now a bit more than in the air now. I had a stroll on Sunday and came across this lovely blossom on a tree. HAIL..

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved

Did you get caught up in the hail last weekend? I was driving through Wanstead and the noise on the car roof was tremendous. It stopped just before I turned into Wigram Road, as I pulled up at first glance I thought all these white spots on the floor were hailstones. As it turned out though, it was just blossom that had been blown off the trees. Sad to see it go but our Cherry tree is in an exposed position so flowers late, we have lots of blossom to look forward to.

A PROFUSION OF WHITE ...

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved.

This profusion of white incorporating blossom and picket fence caught my eye yesterday morning as I was leaving home. I had to take the picture, if only for my wife who is really passionate about white as anyone who has visited the Gallery will tell you.
