EARLY LIGHT..

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved

We are lucky enough to get really interesting early morning light in our garden. As the sun comes up it throws a shaft of light between our shed and the house next door. It's quite a narrow beam, maybe just a couple of foot wide. This morning, in it's path, it caught this dandelion bowed over by the weight of the early morning dew, it's amazing what you see from the kitchen window as you make tea.

Don't forget we have in stock at the Gallery the 2015 Wanstead Society Calendar, it's full of my Wanstead Daily Photo pictures. At only £6 it's a great buy either for yourself or as a Christmas gift, it never too early!

EARLY MORNING...

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved

I came across this little scene early yesterday morning in a Wanstead garden. It was just a shaft of sunlight creeping inbetween two buildings, the backlighting on the Dandelions however made it a lovely picture.

GARDEN THEME 1

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved.

Looking around Wanstead at the moment there is an abundance of colour. The gardens and trees have come alive.  Seeing these dandelions I realised that they have three stages of beauty. The yellow flowers, the tell the time clocks and even the stalks have unique beauty of their own. Just had to catch this image on camera.

TICK TOCK NATURES CLOCK....

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved.

A childhood memory of blowing the dandelion to tell the time. I captured this on camera in the last days of summer in Wanstead. How different the world looks when you stop and look closely.
