I came across these four houses in Gordon Road when I was out taking pictures. I find them interesting because they are a completely different style to all the other houses in the road, is there a story? if anyone has any information about them I'd be very interested to hear from you.

I seem to remember Edward Lear's poem goes 'The owl and the pussycat...'  As you can see, in this case it's two owls and a lamp. I found this illustration on the wall of a house in Gordon Road, it's up very high so it must be the work of a dedicated owl lover.

BRING BACK THE BEES

Well done to Wanstead residents for planting flowers around the trees in Gordon Road. What a great idea. Hopefully their efforts for doing so will help to bring back the bees. It also makes the pavements look so much more attractive.
