Fabulous skies for the last two mornings. I missed  the one yesterday, I was working before the sun came up but I did manage to grab this quick shot of the one this morning. It was taken on my iPhone through double glazing hence the flare but I thought it was still worth capturing.

I took this picture a couple of mornings ago at about 5am, I was looking East from Wanstead. As you can see from the glow in the sky and the cloud formation it was a magnificent dawn. The amazing thing was how quickly the sky changed, I just managed to capture this view, a few minutes later the sky had changed completely and the drama had gone.

Remember yesterday morning, grey, overcast and cold ? Well not at sunrise when this pictures was taken, these fantastic  colours lasted only a few minutes before the sun rose high enough to be hidden by the clouds. I had to take this photograph very quickly, there was not enough time to find a different location, however when I saw the image on the back of the camera I really liked the combination of the sun, power lines and trees.
