DINNER FOR TWO....

    World © Geoff Wilkinson

...yes i'm back, just when you thought you'd got rid of me, apologies for the absence, just an amazingly busy time in life.

...anyway I was in the kitchen preparing dinner for a family meal when glancing out the window, I spotted this fox with a very large bone. I would like to think he was taking it home to feed his family as well....

SITTING PRETTY..

The fox, love them or hate them here in Wanstead they are here to stay. I saw this guy or girl sitting looking very chilled in  Rectory Crescent the other evening as I passed. Although it looked very relaxed it had his sights firmly set on something moving in the grass.

OUR EYES MET AND...

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved

Remember those old black and white cowboy films where the sheriff and the gunslinger meet, checking each other out with low hooded eyes? Well that happened to me yesterday, I spied this fox though the garden gate of a house in Nightingale Lane, our eyes met and he was off but I was a bit quicker on the draw and grabbed this picture. No smoking guns though thank goodness.

GREEN CROSS CODE..

I parked on Hermon Hill the other day to have a look around for pictures. I had only just stepped out of the car when this fox appeared just a few yards away, it had great road sense and didn't cross until it was clear. Just had time to grab this shot before it disappeared across the road.

CAUTIOUS MUM..

World © Geoff Wilkinson - All rights reserved

I was at a friends house last night when this little scene appeared at the end of the garden. These two little fox cubs came out to play watched over though by their cautious mum, she apparently has four more hidden in her den. They only come out at dusk and play under the cover of trees. Shooting through double glazing and bad light is not great for photography but well worth a picture.

PAW PRINTS IN THE SNOW.

I saw these little paw prints in the snow and initially thought they were those of a cat.  However, turning round I spied the culprit, it was foxy. He/she seemed quite young and in good condition.  Unafraid, it looked at me, I took the shot and then it walked with me up the road for about 20 yards, crossed the road and then disappeared without a backward glance.

Walked outside the Gallery the other day and saw this fox parading around Nightingale Green.  I grabbed the camera and panned the first shot before he turned and boldly wandered off up Nightingale Lane.
