A LITTLE FROST...

This is another 'car park' picture you may have seen the other one on my last post. I took this a few days ago before the weather warmed slightly....ever so slightly I might add. I spotted these frost covered leaves as I parked the car in the car park just off Wanstead high street, I just liked the shapes. Although I wish I had been there earlier when the frost was heavier...ah well c'la vie...

Wow, cold this morning before the sun came up. This is the lawn in the garden, lots of frost just starting to melt helping to make a great picture.

This picture is of our first flowering daffodil which looked great a few days ago but was decimated by the frost experienced earlier this week. Hopefully, others coming through will be luckier.

... There was a very heavy frost last night and when I went to the car it had formed into these delicate peaks on the roof.

It's only a dustbin lid covered in frost but the cracks and the curves make it a really strong composition.

An old fashioned wash tub upside down with the lettering in reverse is a good subject on a frosty morning, I am sure this wouldn't look half as interesting without the frost.

Woke up yesterday morning  to the first frost of the year in my garden and spotted this stand alone leaf resembling a claw.  Love winter when it's cold, frosty and snowy.  Technical information for this picture - wear a dressing gown and go back to bed.

I notice from the stats that we now seem to be gathering readers from around the world.  May I welcome you all to this tour around Wanstead where I live.  It is a small village within London very close to the Olympic Site.
