....anyone out there ? Have you ever sat quietly at night, perhaps in your garden or while on holiday and just stared at the night sky? If so do you ever wonder if there is anyone out there looking at us? Who knows. Anyway I really like the way the moon lines up with this collection of aerials and satellite dishes just off Nightingale Lane. Is Wanstead being observed......

I know I published a similar picture on Monday but I'm afraid I couldn't resist this one. When I saw this reflection picture in black and white on the computer screen as opposed to the colour  version, sigh... well what can I say.

Here's another picture from the rainy days I referred to yesterday. I was wandering across Christchurch Green when I found this fallen leaf lying next to a puddle. I like the way it lines up with the reflection of the trees in the water. I have a feeling that it's going to be an early winter, lovely colour on the leaf though.

ARMED FORCES DAY..

Whenever I pass a war memorial I can't help but look at the names, the one above is in Wanstead High Street. I have seen them all over the country, I find it particularly poignant in villages. It's difficult these days to imagine the loss on such small communities. Armed Forces Day was celebrated earlier today by Redbridge.

If you are a regular follower of this blog you know that I don't have much interest in cars. However, when I saw this beauty in the car park the other day I couldn't help but stop and stare, it looked amazing, what a driving machine !

Unfortunately the young lady driving it was off before I got a chance to speak to her so I don't know any detail but what a great looking car.

Can't quite get my head around this bush. It's in our front garden, as you can see from the picture it has sprouted two different coloured flowers, what's that all about then! Is it unique, any thoughts please let me know.
