IT'S BEGINNING TO....

......look a lot like Christmas, as they say in the 1951 song written by Meredith Wilson. I spotted this glorious window as I passed through Wellesley Road the other night. The first Christmas lights I have seen this year. Our lovely daughter reminded me last weekend that it's only another six Saturdays and a few days away, a hint perhaps?

I took this photograph at the very end of the day at the junction of Wellington and Wellesley Road. The sun had just about gone down transforming everything into silhouette. I liked the way that the shape of the trees echoed the spire of Christ Church.

MOSS ?

Spotted this moss growing on a garden wall in Wellesley Road and just had to capture it.  I thought it looked like a lilliputian forest.  If anyone knows what it is called I would be very pleased to know.
