Not sure what the temperature was today but it's been really hot, at least here in Nightingale Lane. I had a wander up to Christchurch Green which had a few people sunbathing and generally enjoying themselves including this pair running across the green, more engergy than me in this heat. Did you catch anything of the "Music in the Park" festival held in Wanstead park on Saturday? It's an annual event and a great opportunity for photos of crowds of happy, picnicking revellers in the sunshine, live bands playing music in front of the "Temple" into the evening, stalls, sideshows, a bird expert who brings owls, all kinds of fun to be had, and very "Wanstead". : )
