Stumped.... but nothing to do with cricket. I found this tree stump on a Christ Church Green walk, I though it looked very sad. Judging by the decay that appears to be on the exposed interior I assume it was very poorly tree. Hopefully another has been planted to replace it.
You can also see in the background of the picture the children's playground on Christ Church Green. The good people of Wanstead having raised money for the Christmas tree on George Green may now have to raise more money for the repair of the playground.
