I shot this picture yesterday evening on my way home from the gallery. I spotted this stationary traffic near The George pub. No particular reason for taking the picture except I was really drawn by the colours, lights and reflections of the traffic, it made me think of chaos. It was just a gut feeling. One of those moments in photography when it all comes together in front of you with very little time to think so you just react. As I often say not everyone's cup of tea but I like it....

I like it too, a lot even. Though I'd rather not be stuck in a traffic jam!
ReplyDeleteIt's not to bad a jam, it's just the traffic lights holding it up
Deletethis photo is beautiful..
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm so pleased you like it
DeleteTo me a traffic jam is chaos. Those red lights also make me think of danger.....
ReplyDeleteYou are right, a bad jam is seriously frustrating but living in London like most big cities it's a fact of life...
DeleteThat's an oddly gorgeous image -- it almost becomes an abstract, all shine and reflection and shape and colour. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like it. The intensity of the colours and the general feeling of confusion makes it work for me.
