I am sure most of you realise by now that my knowledge of flowers and their identification is practically non existent. So when I popped into The Manor House in Wanstead High Street for a little refreshment on Sunday I couldn't identify the lovely arrangement of flowers on each table. The blooms were quite small, I like to think they were some form of meadow flower but of course in truth I have no idea. They were however simple arrangements, very lovely and very photogenic as well....the refreshment was excellent as well.....

I do recognise all the flowers Geoff, but am hopeless with names. Sweet arrangement with gorgeous rich colour in background.
ReplyDeleteYes Grace that's what I like the lovely rich background..
DeleteThe white one looks like a dahlia. Love the simple arrangement. All the beautiful colors of nature together in one vase!
ReplyDeleteSimple, you can't beat it...
DeleteYou have EYES for beautiful details!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
And I like the way you used the focal point.
Thank you, it's just a question of taking the time to look..
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks William, glad you like it...
DeleteI agree with Hal that the white and pink ones are dahlias. It is lovely and reminding me that I haven't got any flowers in the house...
