REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY...

As you can see from the picture above there was a big turnout at Wanstead's war memorial on Sunday. The British Legion arranged a service for 12.30 yesterday, the weather  was overcast but it didn't affect a very moving occasion as you can see from the faces. I took more pictures than usual so I'll be posting a few more during the week...

    I always wore the poppy around this time of year in Canada. I feel a bit odd doing it in Germany though...

    The poppy there is quite similar to the ones we have here. A lot of poppy boxes can be found in a lot of places. I've picked up several this year, as usual.
