As you may know the beloved Browns Garage on Church Path has closed. The wonderful old building that was originally a jobmasters stables is to make way for new houses, well that's progress I expect. Anyway as I passed the other day on a walk with students during a Fringe/Art Trail photowalk I spotted this beautiful reflection in the window of the old cottage opposite, of course the clouds helped...
The window up top really catches my eye!
ReplyDeleteYes same with me, I thought it added to the composition..
DeleteThis is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, I'm really fond of this building...
DeleteProgress really gets on my nerves sometimes :) super reflection Geoff.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Grace, yes I'll be sad to see this building go...
DeleteBeautiful reflection and buildings!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe how many sights have changed since I arrived in Vienna.
The world does not stand still, so much is sure.
You're so right Merisi, I'm not against change but sometimes there seems to be too little thought for some lovely old buildings....
DeleteI love how the blue windowsill acts as an underline for the reflection
ReplyDeleteI've done many a closeup on that blue peeling paint!
