MOTHERS DAY...

I'm pretty sure I questioned last year whether Mothers Day was a world wide event, I still don't really have the definitive answer. Anyway if you do celebrate it have a great day, if you don't just pop in or call your mum anyway and say hi.

I was on my way back from Wanstead Park yesterday  when I spotted this lovely arrangement in 'Daisy's' the florist at The George pub end of the High Street. Very fitting I thought and the young lady who owns the shop is called Daisy as well so there you go...have a smashing day, I'm off for a Mothers Day breakfast in town, can't wait..

  2. I do know that it's celebrated in the USA, but in the month of May.

Anyone with family on both sides of the pond gets to send or receive two lots of Mother's Day greetings, haha.

  3. I'm always confused because the European and North American Mother's Days are different! I am always worried my mum will feel un-loved. ;-)

  5. Here in Canada we celebrate Mother's Day the second Sunday of May, and Father's Day is the third Sunday in June. This bouquet is gorgeous, Geoff. :)
