Wanstead's wonderful guerrilla gardner Marion Temple has struck again. This time it's in Wanstead Place, you will have noticed the concrete picket fence that runs along the side of Christchurch Green, well now Marion has planted primulas along its base. Now that will take the edge of it nicely. Best of all she rescued these plants that were about to be thrown out, recycling at it's best...

I didn't know guerilla gardeners existed but I'm glad they do! Primulas tend to multiply so that's a wonderful idea because if all goes well, you'll have a carpet in a few years time!
ReplyDeleteYes they are around, Wansteads one Marion is brilliant at finding little unloved patches of earth and planting them.
DeleteBrilliant idea Geoff.. Marion Temple is a marvel, flowers make everything better :)
